Linde Plant Components Handled via the Port in Passau-Schalding

From bayernhafen Passau to India

Profession handling of two heavy-weights – the technology conglomerate, The Linde Group for the first time used the Bavarian port of Passau-Schalding to transfer plant components onto inland waterway barges. The two 85 and 145 tonne ”cold boxes”, consisting of plate heat exchangers with pipework and other process components, are destined for two natural gas treatment plants in India for the production of fertilisers. Uwe Kruck GmbH, the heavy-load transport company, used two mobile cranes to transfer the cargos from truck to ship.
